I don't really have any myths about online learning. I work for the training group at Microsoft and half of the training we facilitate is online. the only thing that really comes to mind is that I had heard that online College classes are easier. I do not find that to be the case. I think that they are actually harder because it is too easy to put things off to the last minute and fall behind. I had heard most of the myths described in our reading but since I work with online training every day I knew most were not true. I can say that I prefer online classes. My hours are crazy at work so it helps that I can log on when I have the opportunity as opposed to having to show up at a classroom at a certain time. If it were not for online classes it would not be possible for me to go back to school.
